Our Activity
Cotton
Cotton fields are occupying around 40 hectares of land. The estate is selling the whole cotton production to the textile industry and the cottonseeds to the biofuel industry.
Wheat
Wheat production takes place in around 40 hectares of land. The estate is applying all the respective EC regulation for a responsible farming of wheat taking into consideration the high quality of the final product. The whole production is sent to local flour mills around the area of Parnassos mountain.
Olives and olive oil
With more than 2000 olive trees, the estate is producing its own high quality virgin classified olive oil. Although the production is consumed by resellers, an undergoing investment will lead to the creation of the estate's own brand in the area of olive oil by the end of 2024.
Barley
Barley is cultivated in around 40 hectares of land. The estate has signed a contract for providing part of the production to a beer brewing factory in Greece, following the requirements received. The rest of the production is used in the food industry.
Towards circularity
Diamadis Estate is implementing a zero waste policy by reusing parts of the production that in the past it was not possible. Cotton and olive seeds are given to the biofuel industry while rests of barley and wheat are given for the feeding of the local livestock.

Sustainability
In Diamadis Estate, we are very concerned about the future of our planet. As a local business, we want to be part of the solution and not of the problem. Thus, we implement the EU best practices regarding the health of soil and wise management of water resources, among others. For this reason, we adopt high-tech solutions in order to minimize our footprint and inherit a better world to the next generation. After all, we have only one duty, to care for the environment.

Diamadis Estate has been funded by the Greek ministry of agriculture for the reduction of water pollution from nitrates. The duration of the program is three years.
